Last weekend

Tim was scheduled to preach in St. Thomas last Sunday, which meant all of us were scheduled for a trip to London and a visit to Gramma & Grampa's.This is the longest car trip for Hadassah since the beginning of October and we were wondering how it'd go - but she did SO good. We were thankful!! She was pretty happy to see "pa" again...
With a bit off effort and sweet-talking, I managed to get Tim to London on Friday evening. This is quite the feat, considering that although exams were officially done, work was not! But it was necessary so that when I lured him into Four Seasons on Saturday morning, the whole family + Martin, Andrea and Kaylie, could sing "Happy Birthday" to a (mostly) surprised Tim in front of a packed restaurant. (packed with good reason - it was great food!)...

Mom also got me out of doors on that beautiful Saturday afternoon to aid in the annual 'greenary round the door' hanging. She refused to turn around a smile for the camera, so this is what you get...
Monday, once Tim was done his much worked on sermon, he took a day to just relax. I told him he wasn't allowed to even open his laptop, for fear of him being distracted by a waiting paper to be written. Although he did open it, he managed to stay away from work and had a much needed day off. And he wasn't the only one who benefited...
But daddy wasn't the only one spoiling Hadassah with time, play and affection. Pa (and everyone else, really...) got his share in, too. Much to Hadassah's enjoyment!
And he got a bit of "help" Monday afternoon as well! He loaded, she unloaded...
