Few and far between. That is most definitely what you could call my blog posting lately.

Have I been crazy busy?
No.

Have I made a decision to steer clear from the internet for awhile?
No.

Have I had nothing interesting to write about for awhile?
Possibly.

I seem to be only posting my crafty adventures lately. My theory behind this is because it's easy to take pictures of that sort of thing. And since pictures make for more interesting blog posts, I simply write to correspond with my picture taking.

And going right along with that theory...I present to you: My coffee table.Purchased via Craigslist for $20.

Enter sandpaper... a small can of walnut stain and leftover paint from the bathroom and you have...I absolutely love how it turned out! I read a blog post recently about DIY projects and how, even if they're not brilliant or beautiful to the rest of the world, they're extra special to you, simply due to the fact that you've put time and effort into it. I concur. And now I have the pleasure of going to sleep to the sound of crickets. Tomorrow morning I'll wake up to the sound of birds. Spring! Open windows! Gotta love it! G'nite folks.
