Adventures in GR: Part 4

Hot. It's one way you could describe the weather the past couple of days here in GR. Summer-like is another way. And summer-like hot days call for one thing: a day at the beach.

So a few friends packed up themselves, their children and a whole lot of beach toys and headed to Millenium Park. We've been once for a Student Fellowship fun day back in September, but we only visited the playground. Today we ventured into the beach and splash pad part of the park and got lots of sun and water. Hadassah looooved it - I think it's safe to say all of the kids did. Even baby Julia! Here are some shots from our day...Sand and water make...muddy faces!!The group of kids minus Julia. Hadassah was ever-so-slightly outnumbered by the boys, but she didn't care! She had so much fun!Another great place in GR that we got to discover while here. I'm thinking this is another place we'll have to squeeze in one more time before we head out!

  1. Oh, we had so much fun doing the same thing, yesterday. Only it wasn't hot, even though the kids thought so! Sand everywhere, everything they eat with a sand addition and fun the whole time!
Enjoy your next few weeks/months squeezing all these special times in.
Hope your packing goes smoothly, even if it's one box at a time!
