And the winner is...

Ok, before we get into all that (did I just hear your groan and see your eyes roll? well then yes, you just heard me giggle at making you wait for the results of SparrowJoy Print & Design's first giveaway! teehee!)

Like I said, before we get into all that, I just want to take a moment to ponder, with you, the giddiness that comes from $5.

You could, for example, buy 2 bags of Lay's Plain Wavy. When they're on sale. And has anyone else converted from a Ruffle's fan to a Lay's Wavy fan? Who knew I'd change my chip taste bud tune?

Or you could buy 4 sheets of fresh off the press Scrapbook paper and then never use it because you're saving it for the perfect project. No, I've never done that. No, don't look in my craft closet to prove me wrong. It'd work.

Hmm...let's see. What else does $5 give you? A handful of books from the thrift store. A crisp new Better Homes & Gardens. A Starbucks. A few new tunes.

Or, it could give you a happy dance. When you get an email telling you that you just made your first Etsy sale? Well! That $5 is a happy dance, a giddy grin and a squeally phone call to your husband. It's relief and excitement and delight all rolled into several enjoyable minutes.

First purchaser? Thank you. Second? If I knew you, I'd hug you. So appreciated. You made my day!

And now, let's see if I can make someone else's day! Because the winner of the Joy to the World print and the custom print with a quote/verse/saying of their choice, thanks to random.org, is:

SRRRAAH!!! Who said:

I would love to see the chorus of "His Eye is on the Sparrow"

"I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me."

I love Selah's version of that song, which, just for fun, I'll include for you this morning:

Yay Srrrarah! Please shoot me at email at jennifer@sparrowjoy.com so that I can send you the Joy to the World print. And this week I hope to work on your print - you'll be the first to know when it's in the shop.

  2. Beautiful work! Would you be able to put the print in jpg format besides the pdf? I had to convert it to jpg in order to get it printed. Made a beautiful birthday present for my husband.

    1. That's an excellent idea! I almost always use a print shop, so I didn't really think about printing it as a photo - and then a jpeg would certainly be ideal. Thanks for pointing that out.
And Happy Birthday to your husband! :)
